Gunnerkrigg Court
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court
Excuse me while I pick up the shattered pieces of my heart.
Also I thought the names Adam and Hetty were an interesting choice.
Hetty is horrible but I like her design. I'd love to see a cosplay of her.

That is really interesting. I also saw the theory that Hetty might have been based on Hitty, Her First Hundred Years( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitty,_Her_First_Hundred_Years. No good at html so just a link.)
I really love how Rey's character development was shown here. I never did buy the "He was going for the doll the whole time!" theory people were so stuck on.

(Anonymous) 2013-07-30 12:46 am (UTC)(link)On the one hand, it's awesome to finally have those events cleared up from Reynardine's point of view, and his character development feels firmer now.
Also, finding another possessed toy is cool!
But on the other hand, Hetty at turns captivates me and exasperates me. I sort of want her to just go away already but I'm also curious to see what happens to her now.
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court
I really, really like Hetty as a character. It's like "You are one of the most evil things I've seen in this series! TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU!!!! I NEED TO KNOW!" I'll be so frustrated if she just dies and we never learn anything else about her.

And I don't want Hetty and her cute doll body gone :( I love trickster type characters, and her murderous swerve makes me laugh. And I just want her to talk to Adam already, because they probably have grief they suck at dealing on their own and arkgdullhdsaafbnjyr 8(
I am digging this chapter regardless of the outcome.
