he DOES look like auron with glasses now. that's pretty attractive. but yeah idk, is square-enix even capable of making ugly people anymore? can't....seem...to remember any.

It's all but impossible to find a male person, real or imaginary, that all of fandom will regard as ugly. I find this image of Hojo pretty unattractive.

haha, well, I was inquiring more about square-enix's desire for their characters to read as ultra-beautiful compared to older games where there were some intentionally unattractive or average looking characters, but yes, beauty is subjective.

Well, FF7 had Palmer and Heidegger, plus FF9 has Queen Brahne. After that I can't think of anyone.

Those were not Square-enix! That was Squaresoft. That was when Final Fantasy was good. And FFVII, if I may, has mostly non-bishounen type characters (at least before the Compilation). There are certainly many more "comic" ugly characters in the game, too.
