Just curious (yes we will leave the other discussion aside, I probably should not have brought it up), but what are the advantages that you can see, to a union being supersized? I am not being sarcastic, I am genuinely curious, and willing to hear the other side, I could be wrong, and am willing to consider hat.

Broadly speaking, leverage, power, influence. I don't think any of those are bad things for a union to have in and of themselves, and I think all of them, the bigger you are, the more you have.

Again, I'm not saying that I'm universally pro-big union over small union; more just that the idea has some logic behind it and it's an idea that has its place.
