I've pretended to have controversial opinions all across the board, just to see how people argue them. I find it pretty interesting. It's not really about creating wank; I'm not in it to anger people, but I've found that people discuss things more passionately when the person they're arguing with comes off as an ignorant ass.

...sometimes when I see 'internet activists' saying something that just makes me angry morally and personally I dream of making a counter to it where someone's saying the same thing as they are but against them.

and then try and see when mental Olympics and "you're misunderstanding meeeee"s they come up with. It's interesting but in the end very disheartening because they're too stubborn to see logic

also when truly wanky SJW types try to defend "die cis scum" I want to point out to them "you say you support LBGT? well if you also support 'die cis scum', you're a liar. because LGBT includes gay lesbian bisexual AND transgender'. and don't give me that load about 'but if you're not scum you shouldn't have to worry.'

Nothing.

I mean, I guess I sometimes exaggerate the strength with which I hold certain views or identify with certain groups politically for rhetorical effect, but I wouldn't just straight-up pretend to be someone I'm not.
