You aren't even Russian. Have you ever been to Russia? Because half my family was born and raised there for generations. "Russian" isn't actually a race, either, so saying I'm racist is extremely amusing. Do you know what that word even means?

"They're obsessed with being Russian"=What the conservative base there has decided what being Russian *IS*, despite what the people there actually ARE. Not everyone there is straight, cis-gendered, and only speaks in Russian. Also, not coming out to condemn something=/=joining in on the brutality.

Half of my family was born and raised for generations as a minority in Belarus, but it doesn't matter in the slightest because I wasn't and I know very little about the country. But I still know enough to know what its dominant religion is. The fact that you don't know that about Russia speaks volumes about your shallow, second-hand knowledge about the country.

In my language the word racist means ethnic prejudice. I don't believe the word "ethnicist" exists in the English language, which doesn't mean that ethnic prejudice doesn't either.

Or is it acceptable when a member of a minority doesn't speak out out of fear for their life, but when a member of a mjority does the same it's suddenly morally reprehensible, because they ought to sacrifice their life for the cause? Russia isn't America, where a heterosexual can go on a anti-DADT rally and then come back home feeling secure and not having to fear that police will bang on their door the following day. It's very ethnocentric of you if you're unable to see this fact.

It's incredibly funny that you call me an SJW, when it's you who started attacking and insulting an antire nation for the sake of social justice.

By the way, do you even know how many of the news about anti-LGBT violence reaches the Russian public's ears? Considering that any journalist, who doesn't write what Putin wants them to, is murdered and the media are under heavy censorship?
