I don't watch Sons Of Anarchy or Supernaturla (sorry, I had to!), but I get what you mean. That's my biggest problem with American TV-series; if they're popular they just go on and on until they're suddenly not popular any more, and then they're abruptly canceled without getting a proper ending.

This. I wish we could have more series with a set plan, more then a show going on to long I just get annoyed by shows that end abruptly, especially when they end on cliffhangers.

In the very least give me some closure on a show.

Under The Dome is another show that should have been 13 and done. Now they're going to drag it out for at least another season and it's already a kind of mushy mess.

I really doubt it would get dragged past 7 seasons, the plot of the show just really can't go on that long and it's one of those shows where they are going to have an endgame. Supernatural isn't even something I'd compare it with because it's different types of storytelling.

Especially since Clay is no longer head of the table and the main characters have already been divided and damaged beyond repair, the ending has gotta come soon.

I will miss it when it's gone but 7 seasons is enough.

As much as I love this show I will be happy to see it end in 7 seasons like Sutter plans instead of dragging on like Supernatural has.

Kurt seems smarter than most of the people on SPN's creative team, so I think the show will end when he said. Of course I haven't watched s5 beyond 'Laying Pipe' and I wasn't really feeling the season before that, so idk if the quality's improved.
