You probably have responsibilities in your life that will take some time away. That's okay! You can still read the fics in your spare time, and know that you're doing what you can to fulfill your mission.

I like seeing secrets about people with goals.

I have nostalgia for ridiculous, everything-including-the-kitchen-sink Sonic crossovers. There's a certain innocence to some of them.
