A North of 60 secret. O_O Wow. I enjoyed what I saw of the series but I was more into Sarah/Albert and Bertha/???/daughter Kyla storylines. My memory for character names for older shows is unreliable, so if I got even the mentioned names wrong - oops. >.<
I think I would read fic if I stumbled on any. I'd have to rewatch a few episodes first just to remind myself of characterizations, though.
Elsie was a character I liked, I do remember that much, so I would likely enjoy reading the fic OP is wishing for, as well.

Elsie was fierce, man! I get what they were doing with the character (an aging storyline) with her losing her memory and all, but I really wish they had kept Elsie her righteously fierce elder Grandmother self, instead. :-(

Here's where I got the cap from; Elsie and Joe are about ten minutes in.

In The Blue Ground is epic, btw. :-D

ayrt

I had not seen that movie before! I watched Dance Me Outside and The Rez though. Thanks for the link. I was a bit disappointed that Bertha and Kyla didn't have so much as a cameo other than TeeVee (I can't believe I forgot his name earlier - doh!) mentioning something about his girlfriend. It was nice they showed him being kind to Daniel's daughter, at least. I used to love his scenes with his own daughter.

I agree with you now that I've seen it; In The Blue Ground was definitely epic! Thanks again, OP. ^_^

There's a TV show with someone named Kyla in it? That's my name! I must watch!

North of 60. I linked to one of the TV movies, In The Blue Ground above (there were three, IIRC, and the movies were much closer to the land and the spirit IMO, although the series was excellent as well).
