Still doesn't answer my question about the existence of manga/doujinshi about it. I guess I've been living under a rock or something.

As for your question: I've never seen an actual manga adaption, but I have heard rumors of one existing -- just as a yomikiri in some magazine or something, though. Doujinshi exists, I even have a couple myself. Here (http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/search?p=%a5%de%a5%b6%a1%bc+%c6%b1%bf%cd%bb%ef&f=0x2&alocale=0jp&mode=1&auccat=0) is a handy-dandy link for you; there's a few up there for auction right now.

Belatedly:

There appears to have been a Mother 2 tie-in manga by Benimaru Itoh, the character designer; I own a copy and have meant to scanlate it for forever. I don't know about other official manga, but there's definitely quite a few doujinshi available for the Mother games.
