Welllll RPF is the worst, but at the same time, that show is fucking awful, so I feel like this is an instance where it almost cancels out in a weird way

Earlier today I found out what this show is about, lol. I know what the term catfishing means, but never have I connected it to the show title for whatever reason. (And I don't normally watch MTV so I don't see commercials for it.)

Anyway...the guy on the left is a fox. DAT HAIR.

Mmm, I can see why. My friend has a thing for him too so I was linked to Google images and am now considering watching the show. I'm so shallow...

That's as good a reason to watch as any other! I don't really watch MTV or reality type shows, but I'd heard so much about it (on different websites, from people I know, etc.) that I decided to watch last season when there was a marathon, and it's actually not bad. I mean, it's kind of a ridiculous mess lol, but the guys are pretty adorable and Max loves to call people on it when they're being douchebags, which is always entertaining.

I think they'd be a cute couple tbh but I almost prefer to friend-ship them (is that a thing lol?). like outside of the show I picture them being BFFs who hang out all the time and etc.

I've only watched the movie, but the guy on the right seemed so disingenuous. I had a hard time believing his schtick.

Haha I don't think that's even that uncommon. I remember on the season 1 reunion special they said the #1 question they get asked is whether they're dating (their answer was that their relationship wasn't romantic and I remember some people on Tumblr saying "oh ok, so they're friends with benefits then" lol) and pretty much everyone I know that watches the show thinks that at the very least they'd make a really cute couple.
