She moaned as my hand ran up her body, feeling her stomach, chest neck and then nothing. Where was her head?

The phone rang and I picked it up and the guy on the other end said it was my dad but it couldn't be him because my dad is dead.

THEN WHO WAS PHONE?

Tom was passed out on the couch with the spiked drink still in his hand. I stood over him with my nerve, hunger and razor blade and got to work.

She went out late last night, saying she'd be home soon. She was partly right; I'll check the mail again tomorrow.

Ink-black against the darkness, silhouetted humanoid shapes stormed through my house all that night. I finally slept a brief, deep, and dreamless sleep, then woke up to an inky handprint across my mouth in the mirror the next morning.

Grandma's wandering in the back yard again. Better get the shotgun.

It is not the creature now embracing me that I am truly afraid of.

It is the woman that had once cared for me now lying cold and lifeless on the bloodstained stone floor.

The baby's crying drifted into my bedroom from down the hall. I couldn't recall ever having a baby.

I came home from my business trip to find blood all over the floors and my son hiding under a desk. When I asked what happened, he looked at me with wide eyes and whispered, "Please stop."

My binge was long but rewarding as I finish reading right at the cliffhanger in the last, thrilling, beautiful installment. Last updated: September 2009.

"Hold my purse. I need to powder my nose," my fiancé had said in a rush as she ran to the bathroom. Bored, I snooped inside and recoiled when I found my love's face staring fixedly back at me.

His blood dribbled down my lips and at his pleading cries for me to stop my face crawled up into a smeared ruby red smile. Behind my eyes I could scream all I wanted but it made no difference since she was in control now and forever.
