Just because it exists doesn't mean it needs to become a trend among tumblr bandwagon-jumpers who don't actually care about the characters and just want another bandwagon to jump on.

How do you know if they'll care or not about the characters? Maybe some won't, maybe some will, who cares? Like every trend it'll go away at some point, and things will be back to normal except perhaps with more fans who'll want to read the comics. Ignore the posts you don't like, tumblr-savior them, and enjoy your movie.

At least they'll watch/read the stuf, thus giving money to whoever is making your favourite movies/comics, thus allowing them to make more. That's good.
