Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I haven't rewatched it yet, so maybe I'll appreciate the format more when I do that, but I thought while there were instances where it was done really well and it would actually add to what was going on, or make you wonder what the hell is going on with certain characters when it's not their episode (GOB stands out to me here) but there were a lot of instances where it felt more like they were using the character-focused format to just replay a scene later and then tag a little more on to it, where that would just have been there from the start in a previous season. I'd have to watch it through again to identify specifically what I'm thinking of, but it ended up feeling like less had actually happened over the course of the season.

I still really liked it, but I just kind of felt like it was retreading more than it really needed to sometimes.
