[Picture is a person cosplaying the enemy non-player character "Pyramid Head" from the "Silent Hill" videogames. "Pyramid Head" is a sort of pale-skinned, thin but muscular human-looking creature, possibly male, with a giant four-faced rusted pyramid as a head, wearing a trailing blood-stained robe or skirt of sorts and dragging a humongous knife. The cosplayer is walking through a forest or park type of area.]

When I'm at a con, I have a weird reaction to people in cosplay that completely obscures the face. It's hard to explain but it seems like my subconscious doesn't recognize them as people, and I have to remind myself that they can see and hear me and I should talk to them like everyone else. I've probably come off as really creepy to the few that I've talked to.
