I'm mostly with you, anon. I'm definitely not googoo gaga over Cas the way most people seem to be (I really wouldn't care if he left), but for me, up to season 5 was the best. I feel like if they'd ended it there, it would have been amazing. (Granted, I did like s8, but for a while there I was only watching out of obligation)
