Yeah. One thing that really beats me about tinhat shipping is that it never seems to happen to actually gay actors. I remember Zacharay Quinto's fans digging up (actual, eg. from deleted web profiles) evidence that he was gay before he came out, but I can't think of any tinhat ships that were ever real, and I figure it might be because it tends to be straight male friends who perform the kind of behaviours (eg. faux-gay jokes) that tinhats are into. So what they are stupidly creepily obsessively objectifying is straight white men. It is the least issue-having thing.
