Sharing fic can be stressful, especially if it's something you're really invested in. I figure one just gets used to riding it out over time. I used to always try to leave the internet for at least a few hours after posting something, preferably a day or so, so I could Not Worry about what people thought of it/if anyone responded to it. The more you write & post fics for the fandoms you care about, the easier it gets to deal with.
