Ender's Game was written a long time before OSC started getting political. It is the best thing he ever wrote, and I don't think he would, or could, write it now.

OP has good taste. I hope they did a good job on the movie.

As for you, borrow it from the library. OSC won't get a dime.

OSC will get a dime or thereabouts if OP lives in a country that uses the Public Lending Right system to reimburse authors whose books are borrowed from libraries. PLR exists in most Western countries other than the USA. tl;dr if you're NOT American, torrenting or buying a used copy beats borrowing in terms of not giving OSC money.
