Well, okay, but I'd argue that A Game of You was written a very long while ago. I don't mean to say it as "it was a long time ago, the standards were different", more that Gaiman gives me the impression that he's matured a lot since then. (Which is another reason why I couldn't really see him as still supporting scientology, I get the vibe that he probably knows better. Of course I may very well be wrong, and if so I'd be pretty disappointed. I'm hoping I'm right.)

Also, I quite like Amanda Palmer, though I know that for some reason fandomsecrets hate her (no need to give me the reasons, I know why some people don't like her, I'm just puzzled at how much energy fandomsecrets puts into hating her). However whatever your personal opinion on her, I'd argue that judging someone for who they chose to marry isn't the same as judging someone because they actively put a lot of energy and money into oppressing people. Amanda Palmer may be a very grating and problematic figure, but, well, first, she's Amanda Palmer, she's not fused at the hip with Neil Gaiman, and second, she does give me the impression of being a generally well-meaning person. I couldn't see her putting money into actively oppressing people.
