Tom Baker went through a phase of being a bit of a tosser by all accounts, particularly to Louise Jamieson when she was first cast as Leela - but he definitely got better (he and Louise now get on very well) and in any case even when he was at his most jerk-like, he still always made time for child fans, so I can overlook that.
