It's the way they're worded - slap "I think" to the front of either of them, and yeah, they'd make the cut. But stating something as if it's fact (as opposed to stating it as an opinion) is ground for making the failbar. It's a matter of semantics - which seems silly, but if you don't know how hung up users here can get on how something is worded, you probably haven't been hanging around here that long.
