I heart you anon! This is an awesome secret. Too bad IN has changed the design so I won't see the crystalline entity anymore.

That's really cool. I don't think I've ever seen a Indiana license plate before.

[Picture is the Great Crystalline Entity from the TV show "Star Trek: The Next Generation". It is a space creature that looks like a light blue crystal with a bunch of fairly geometrical tree roots jutting out if its center, which shines with a light of its own. Below that, is a car's license plate from the state of Indiana, in the United States of America; next to the license numbers is a symbol consisting of a lightened torch with thin rays of light coming out of it and ending in stars, and various stars scattered beneath and around it. It does look like the Crystalline Entity from afar.]

Every time I see an Indiana plate, I think it has the crystalline entity on it.

I always thought it looked like a dandelion...

(Anonymous) 2013-08-03 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah, OP, it totally looks like V'ger.

*closes eyes and prays for a Crystalline Entity vs. V'ger fan war*

This is an awesome secret, OP.

Makes me wonder who designed it and what they were thinking. Probably nothing as cool as your idea, though.

Absolutely not as cool.

It's a torch with 19 stars to represent Indiana being the 19th state of the union.

Now I wish I had one of those tags on my truck. Alas, the DMV just gives trucks white plates, unless one can afford to pay more.

Awesome! I've never seen an Indiana plate before but that really does look like the entity. Cool.
