Oh man, I can relate to that. I don't have a limp, but I have depression, and I don't know how many times I've been told "why can't you just smile more/be happy/enjoy life/etc?"

I have legitimately been asked by a Sherlock fan if I was "still waiting for my adventure" in regards to my cane. Just thinking about it makes me angry as fuck. My mother-in-law also tried the "have you tried NOT being sick?" shit.
