Sorry. I guess I was out of line....I'd cut out my own brain if I thought it would cure me, so I get pretty offended about people possibly saying there shouldn't be cures and all....

I understand.

Different people have different experiences with it. I just worry about AS's methods and how they intend on doing it.

Also some of the things from their PSA were disturbing. Like the mother who talked about committing double suicide/homicide with her autistic daughter in the room, as if the daughter wouldn't hear or have feelings about it. Also the families in the PSA were told to stop therapy for their children for awhile so the kids would "act more autistic".

I understand and believe that a cure would be a good thing to have, but at the same time should be treated carefully and not forced upon someone who doesn't want it. Just because the idea of someone forcing a thing that will change the way my body functions is kind of disturbing to me. But I wouldn't say there shouldn't be a cure for those that do want it.
