Re: COMPLAINTS THREAD

I have a blu-ray/regular dvd combo player in the living room. It was a relatively cheap one, and I got it because it's region free and I bought some dvds back when I could afford to travel to other countries that I couldn't play otherwise. Roommate was watching a dvd while setting up her newly purchased fucking enormous treadmill, and she said the player suddenly froze. She restarted the player, the dvd played fine. Fast forward a couple days, I go to watch one of my teeny selection of blu-rays. It doesn't play. None of the blu-rays, including an expensive--for me anyway--box set, play. Regular dvds work fine. Roommate is insisting that I deal with getting it fixed--calling tech support, boxing it up, sending it in, all that. I am terrible at phone calls, even worse than at face-to-face interaction. Roommate knows this. I offer to pay shipping and stuff as long as she makes the call, but she won't, even though the player broke while she was watching something on it. I paid for it, she was using it when it broke. I'm tempted to go out and buy a cheap blu-ray player so I can watch my box set without having to deal with phones.

Aaaugh that sucks. I hate phones too, so I get that. I hope you can get it fixed eventually without too much stress.
