False equivalency. You said I had no knowledge of the legal system in regards to a restraining order. I told you you're wrong and so you shifted the goalpost. Good thing you got your girlfriend to come back you up, though.

I'm sorry that happened to you. It's a frightening failure of the system.

However, being caught in a shitty situation with the legal system doesn't give you an overview of its tendencies. In fact, it mostly gives you a strong confirmation bias.

"I have had an experience with a restraining order in the legal system, so I know all about restraining orders on the whole, also something bad happened to me so don't you dare talk."

That's your argument, which is actually a far better example of false equivalence than mine. And neither shows why I'm wrong nor addressed my other point, that you don't know Fassbender or what went on at all.

I assume your main argument now is "It was really hard for me to get a restraining order for a person who obviously deserved, therefore if this person got a restraining order there must have been something going on." and, as anon above me said, is relying on a lot of bias on your part. Far too much for the rest of us to take it as fact.

Multiple people talked about the medical reports that would presumably have happened but did not. This and other compelling points cause me to doubt things happened as his accuser said they did.
