All I wanted to do was move into the shade so I wouldn't fry -- which is plenty easy to do since when you're on the grass and not the beach. Canadian sun takes a little longer to peel the skin from my flesh, but it took twenty minutes to convince my friends to move. I even saw a spot where I could sit in the shade while they stayed in the sun!

Now I look like a lobster, sting like a bee, and burn like a stove. Srsly, c'mon down an' fry up the eggs on my forehead, friends! I can only hope to look normal for my über important interview, this week.

You have butthead friends. I would have moved with you... possibly because I too would be a lobster.

I think if any of them had been from this, typically inclimate, city it would have been easier. This is what I get for hanging out with people who don't burn. Even in their home countries with sun stronger than ours.

Yeah but couldn't have you explained that you would become a lobster? Wouldn't they care about that? (Even if they wouldn't they should care about your limits.)
