Yeah I am in the same boat. I ship Kirk/Spock even though my twin is my platonic soulmate :3 but neither of us ship Sam/Dean bc their dynamic almost reminded us of ours...except for the way that Dean is regularly a shithead to his brother and never gets called on it or apologizes for it, while Sam does nothing but apologize, even for shit that is not his fault (being SOULLESS is just one example). So basically it just depends on the, you know, actual canon in the show and stuff. But people do interpret chemistry in different ways, as humans have since the beginning of time. It'd be pretty awkward if we all wanted to fuck the same person, no?
