Re: Game fandoms not what they used to be?

Mass Effect is the last one I can think of. I'm trying to come up with other modern examples, but Assassin's Creed seems to be losing its fans (or at least their undivided attention) and others like Metal Gear can't seem to generate a big 'fandom.' (Same with the likes of Batman, The Last of Us, blah blah blah).

If BioWare doesn't fuck up the series, the ME fandom (which I'm in) will be around for a while...

If BioWare doesn't fuck up the series

/Too late

...I honestly lost all interest after the end of ME3. I know I don't speak for everyone, but I do have a large number of friends who stan'd for the series very hard and every single one of them was the same.

Totally understand. So many of my friends are the same way but for some stupid reason I still love the series.

I feel the same. Apparently they're making a fourth and I really can't bring myself to care.

And then there's DA, which is fucking inexplicable to me.
