My manager once stored a brand new life-sized cutout of The Most Interesting Man In the World (tm) in the bathroom the night before I was opening the restaurant by myself for the first time.
We had to order a new one because I kick/stomped him in the crotch and he folded like cardboard.

(Anonymous) 2013-08-06 01:40 am (UTC)(link)It was a "Western" style cowboy jacket, the sort of thing you'd see in a Hollywood movie set in the South US. Every inch of it was dripping in plastic beads and anime cartoon characters. It was encrusted with the waste of capitalist America.
I wish I'd taken a photo, so I could show you this jacket in all its kitsch glory.
I still don't know who would wear it, or why. And to this day, I'm certain it hasn't left the store.

and a heavy bronze statue of a horse and a similar one of a rabbit at a different time

I got a really cute skirt and undershirt for my zombie costume. I also found great black coats for robotic assassins. Um... I've seen some nice wedding dresses. I guess these aren't that weird. But maybe the bonus points tip me over cause I did buy these things. (Except the wedding dresses. I have no reason to buy those.)
