I didn't want to go back to the other thread since it's been long enough that I doubt anyone would see it, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that commented on the other one.

I've watched the four episodes that have aired, and I actually really like it so far! It definitely reminds me of Lost and even though I'm sure there won't be an explanation that makes sense and it will annoy me, at least it's entertaining right now!

Dude. I fucking love Siberia. It's definitely one of those shows I can't miss, which kind of sucks since I heard it was getting pretty poor reviews. :<

Yeah, I know the ratings are pretty bad but I'm really liking it too! I know there won't be any more episodes or anything but I hope they at least air all of them.

It reminds me more of The River than Lost. Which is fine by me, since I'm one of the five people on the planet who really liked The River.

I didn't watch The River so for me Lost is the closest comparison, but I have seen a couple people say it reminded them of The River (and say that they liked The River) so I might have to track it down.

I highly encourage you to do so! It's only eight episodes (and I'll warn you right now that it's open-ended, but in a way that works if you think about it as a horror movie), the found-footage conceit is really well done, and it has Paul Blackthorne.

Yeaaaahhhh I could kind of tell that it wasn't going to get good reviews. Not enough critic-bait and a few of the characters are fairly boiler-plate stereotypes.

The suspense is where it's at, though.
