this!

I really like that while they show that Rarity can act lazy and spoiled sometimes (like during the camping episode where she brings a comically oversized pack and makes another pony carry it) she also has an incredible work ethic and a couple of episodes show that her job just plain exhausts her sometimes because it takes so much work (she's the only seamstress in her whole shop! holy cow) but she still loves to do it.

I never expected to love Rarity as much as I do, because "the fashionista" character is usually one I loathe.

But she is such a great artist. I take a lot of inspiration from her, as an adult trying to be professional and all. Her staying up late, promising more than she can do, panicking about networking...it's all so familiar. And I love watching a show with a craftsperson (er, pony) who's shown to work really hard at her craft, especially a craft often considered frivolous. It inspires me, and I hope that it inspires young girls just starting out.

I definitely agree with you here. I didn't like Rarity at first but she rapidly became my favorite character in the show

Ohhh me too Rarity reminds me so much of my best friends so she's a top favorite.
