...so what she meant to say was not "U2 has a fandom," but rather, "U2 has fanfic writers." I fuckin' hate it when people say "fandom" when they mean to say "fanfic." That's a tiny, tiny part of fandom, guys, especially when dealing with bands, where fandom interaction is generally based around things like bootleg trading, merch collection, concert touring, etc.
