They're the only canon ship I'm invested in and I feel weird about it too. Both of them are so adorable and dim that I can't help but root for them. Though fic wise I'd be way more interested in anything to do with Taystee...

Omg Taystee. She's wonderful and breaks my heart. Also I'm invested in her friendship with Poussey (and ship it aw yeah washington/jefferson awyiss&mdash).

This show is so good about making me care for all the characters.

I started watching this show because there are lots of female characters and femslash. I love those things about it but...

I'm the most invested in these two. I'm going to be the only one writing het in this fandom.

I find Daya and Bennett super boring tbh.

I can't tell if it's the writing or a choice by Daya's actress (...or Daya's actress just sucking), but Daya comes off as so lifeless to me.

Also I feel like 75% of the fandom loves Piper/Alex, but I am so not here for that. Alex/Nicky is where it's at for me.

THIS. I hate Piper/Alex, I can't stand it. It actually makes me so horribly uncomfortable just to see that I had to stop watching the show. I can't even look at gifs of the two of them on tumblr (which is hard when my best friend reblogs stuff of them all day). Alex is just the absolute worst kind of person and it deeply upsets me that no one seems to care or realize it.

The thing that annoys me the most is how I see so many people gloss over how horrible Alex is in the relationship and instead they just focus on what a bitch Piper was for leaving Alex when Alex's mom died. But uh, look, it was an emotionally manipulative relationship. Piper had decided to get out and she needed to stick with that or else she was going to get sucked back in.

I'm really torn because of the whole power imbalance thing, but they're also super adorable together. She drew him an anime picture of himself! Ugh, those idiots. I want them to work but I'm too cynical to believe they will.

I actually agree. I mean, I like everything else, but I can't ship anyone with Chapman because while I find her interesting I don't really dig her.

But they're pretty cute and I wanted them to work out.
