I would write something for real but I should be going to bed soon and writing keeps me up all night so here.

Remembrance of My Death

Around, all around, the angels gather.
My dread grows as the stroke of death falls against my heart.
It slays me, and darkly my
essence drips
to the dead grass.
In unholy terror I try to run
while Death's shadow looms.
Now alone, my cascade of tears falls upon bleeding eyes.

Losing Faith

Slender beams of sunlight enter
this darkened room as I kneel,
always despairing, always hopeful,
frozen here,
waiting.

Robed forms wrought in panes of glass loom as
dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
penetrating my exposed eyes.

Paleness on a clock's face.

I raise my head, now submitting to
this uncaring Limbo.

the night falls as if slain by the sun, soulless are we.
the salvation for which you pine
flares once, then dies,
devoured by a velvet ebon nothingness.
all hope must not endure.

your passion throbs no more.
how could you tear us asunder?
our dark emotions surround us, crying,
save us from ourselves.

what have you wrought?
a smothering indistinctness of agony as sentiments seep.
once we savored innocence,
wide-eyed and untainted,
but your thirst soured.
a clouded vision of lies -
memories follow darkness, follow night,
love consumed.
in a torrent of vengeance,
i see you.
