(Anonymous) 2013-08-09 11:22 am (UTC)(link)The comic depresses me. I follow it because I absolutely adore the artwork. But the whole premise really puts into stark contrast how sexist SFF still is. Super special genius men get to gallivant through all kinds of universes - in which no female character from any of those universes gets both facetime and a speaking part - saving the world, being meta-savvy and making quips. In order to hunt down female characters for the audacity of equivalence.
I don't mean to say the comic itself is sexist - just reflecting the massive unfairness in how fandom treats gender. So I'm really hoping they go somewhere with the fact that the Doctor, Kirk, and Sherlock are the biggest Sues of all.
