This actor was in the Signing Naturally course video that I was studying in 1991/92 when I was considering becoming an interpreter. Dear Jesus, I thought he was talented and did a wonderful job, both commercially and in the video textbook.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Marlee Matlin's work in "Reasonable Doubts" which was from that same period. The show was assigned as homework for us, as was this particular episode of STNG.

Yes, I was meaning to mention Reasonable Doubts! Man, I loved that show. It does look kind of dated nowadays... I managed to find a few episodes online. Still fun to watch, though.

I also loved Marlee Matlin's character on Picket Fences: the Dancing Thief.
