Sorry OP. I don't have a proper comment on this. I'm just trying to make the gifs collapse. But I hope it was the 'sorry it ended, glad that it happened' kind of crying? IDK. I've never heard MCR. Also your secret is prettily composed.

I've never listened to this album (or band, actually), but I got a similar vibe from the final Paper Chase album. The second-to-last track even samples a little soundbite that says "this is the last thing I am ever going to record." But it was originally supposed to be a two-part album, so I don't think it was intentional.

Secret: I listened to this album for the first time in a while yesterday, and after their recent break up it started to sound more and more like them saying goodbye. Then I sat and cried like a 14 year old fangirl. [sad face emoticon]

Bonus secret: I love the glut of My Chemical Romance secrets recently. Laughing out loud.

Haha, I'm not even gonna lie, I felt like this after FOB took their 'hiatus'. It felt like more of a break up at the time but then they actually came back, so take that how you will.

But yes, it does always suck when a band you enjoy breaks up. That's understandable. I think one of the reasons I wasn't too upset about the MCR breakup was that I haven't been keeping up with music the last few years and most the stuff I listen to now is fanmixes and video game music. Plus, again, FOB got back together, so it distracted me.

I think if I'd listened to it for the first time after the break-up, I'd feel the same way, anon. Then again, the Black Parade album had a very "good-bye" feel to it too, so it's probably a coincidence?
