Cas is going to have sex with a woman this season. It may not say he's not gay, but at the very least he'd be Bisexual. The fans are losing their shit because-get this-sleeping with some random "trampy/slut" woman would ruin his character. LOL. I love how they automatically assumed all women are sluts. This is why I can't take slash fangirls seriously. The woman-hate is so damn disgusting.

I like the idea of swanqueen in fanworks, but I have no idea how anyone thought this could be a legit that could happen in the show. I mean, it's anti-text for one, and for another as if it was ever on the table for the writers to make any of these characters anything but 100% straight.

All of this. It was clearly never the plan, nor should it have been given everything Regina has done to Emma and her family.

Here's something I find interesting. I know a handful of female characters who started their shows as straight and ended up as lesbians or bisexuals: Xena/Gabrielle, Santana/Brittany, Carrie Weaver from E.R., that lawyer from L.A. Law... But I don't remember any male character following the same path.

Now, I don't think Emma and Regina are going to end up together. But I think that thanks to the audience, there could be something going on between Aurora and Mulan next season ;)

Regina is Emma's step-grandmother. A bit gross. I'd much rather Regina be with Hook or something, and Emma be with Neil.

DA--I give less than no fucks about the supposed incest, seeing as how neither of them ever acted as any sort of family to the other. But Regina tried to have baby Emma killed, so yeah. Also, much as I think Regina has problems that preclude a romantic relationship anytime soon (I can see her crushing a S.O.'s heart during an argument, easy, and also she's a rapist and needs to figure out the whole consent thing), Hook wouldn't be a good match for her. He's a manipulative shit whose first and usually only care is for himself. Aside from Milah, I don't think he's ever shown real concern for anyone. Unless they ended up like Cora and Rumpelstiltskin would have been, encouraging each other's worst traits rather than bringing out the best in each other.

It happened to several characters in Metal Gear Solid - one female, but mostly male. Ocelot and Miller both went from no-stated-sexuality to obviously trying to get into BB's pants, and BB went from being oblivious about Ocelot's attempts to get in his pants to having side-mission sex on the beach with Miller. The series as a whole has just got gradually more openly gay in each instalment, from light innuendo, to a minor-characters gay relationship, to a major-villains gay relationship, to a gay kiss in an easteregg, to a serious plotline about gay history & a major-characters lesbian pairing.
