And that's not even going into the stuff that would've landed Snape a kissing contest with a Dementor if the law had anything to say about it.

Seriously, it's been SIX years. Snape was a despicable creature whose only redeeming feature was his unhealthy obsession with a dead woman he considered to be of a subhuman species and was willing to subject to no end of atrocities as long as he could "keep" her. But love is the greatest magic of all and Harry had so many traumas that one more emotionally abusive adult hardly stood out amidst his parade of issues, and that's why he was able to forget about Snape being such a nasty piece of shit in daily life and focus only on the far and between ways he helped his side in the war.

Now please get the hell over it.
