If you don't ship them, I assume that's because everyone's different. You should try it.

but...they ended up being a canon couple? shouldn't you have made this secret about two characters who didn't get together in canon?

I came here to say this. I've never watched the show and even I know they ended up as a couple in the actual series.

I think that's the secret poster's point? I think it's supposed to be a rebuttal to the "you've never had a friend of the same sex if you ship this pairing" secrets. So the point is that sometimes people can have whatever close relationships, and then also get together.

(I don't think they should have got together though) (but obviously, ship what you please)

I was assuming this is a sarcastic response to the Kirk/Spock "If you ship them, you must never have had a close friend of the same sex" secret, but yeah, it would have worked better with a couple who didn't end up together in canon.

...Or I'm misinterpreting and the OP is butt-hurt about people liking a ship that was end-game on a show that went off the air over ten years ago.

I want a secret that says: "if you ship them, I assume nothing". That will be the logical completion of the series.

Or, no, there better be another one saying "if you assume that I haven't had a meaningful relationship with a coworker of opposite sex, I ship them".

and then "if you ship a meaningful relationship with a coworker of opposite sex, I assume you"

"If you assume they have a meaningful relationship, then I ship you with my co-workers."

LOLirl :D That's one of the most ridiculous threats I've ever seen

*whispers mysteriously* If you ship it, he will come.

Haven't you made enough of these secrets OP? (Okay, they might not be by the same people, but all I see when I read these are a desperate attempt at causing wank.)

[Picture is Agents Mulder and Scully from the TV show "The X-Files". They are a woman with short kinda wavy red hair reaching her shoulders, light blue eyes and light skin, and a man with light olive skin, short dark hair combed back and both of them are wearing dark suits.]

If you ship them... I think you must never have had a close working relationship with a coworker of the opposite sex.
