She was the token female turtle, Venus de Milo. She didn't last long enough for me to know much about her.

Yeah, she was in one of the movies and was in one of the reboots. The fans hated her, and she hasn't been around since.

In the late 90's there was a live action TMNT series that lasted one season. It was called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation." It added a pretty much token female Turtle named Venus De Milo. Both the show and Venus are unpopular with TMNT fans.

That was the first time I got called a feminazi. For making a hyperbolic complaint that the male turtles were named for creators and the female for a subject.

If they were to try out the female turtle thing again (likely not), I would hope they'd name her Artemesia.

Huh, you know, I totally assumed that her name was supposed to be a sort of sly reference/play on words. What with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles being heroes in a half shell and the Boticelli painting sometimes being referred to as Venus on a half shell.
