The only way I can maybe sort of see "crappy person" is he's not someone I'd want to be around in real life, even without the enormous cloud of tragedy following him around destroying any scrap of happiness in a fifty-yard radius.

Crappily socialized, yeah.

...actually, he is a crappy person insofar as he lives in a crapsack world!

Oh yeah, I'm not particularly interested in hanging out with him. He doesn't seem like someone I'd enjoy spending time with - but he does try and do good. (Doesn't always succeed)
