I finally got the hang of two-inch wedge heels last year! It's really just a matter of buying something comfy and using them until it doesn't feel weird. I started with a very comfy pair from Clarks. I'd suggest trying something with a wedge heel at first though rather than something narrow/pointy - much harder to fuck up. Clarks is a VERY comfy brand but kinda expensive outside of their sales and their UK clearance stores.

Clarks is pretty common here and you can catch them on good sales at Macys, my mom swears by them! Personally, I like Aerosoles.

Another tip might be to start with something with a thick heel, I used to wear boots that had a wide heel and they were so comfortable. I'm so mad that they broke (after 9 years, what could I expect?)

UK anon here, I love Clarks shoes! A new pair of Clarks shoes is a real treat for me, especially as they carry half-sizes over here and I take a 6.5 so I can get exact fits!

the best Clarks treat was when I bought a pair in the Clarks clearance store in Woolwich with my US debit card. They were meant to be £28. My card got charged $28. Wish I'd bought ALL THE SHOES.
