Glad you liked that pep talk. It's very similar to the pep talk I gave myself that resulted in me getting laid by an Isaiah Mustafa lookalike with a doctorate who turned out to be a little more batshit than I bargained for via dating site.

But yes. Once I created an empty profile with no picture or information just to tell some people what I thought of their profiles. In a nice constructive way! A few of them messaged me back to ask what I was into and one guy (who I suggested use one of his other non-depressed serial killer pics as his profile pic) gave me his number because he liked that I took initiative. Making first contact is seriously all it takes to be a hot commodity on dating sites sometimes.
