I hope your cat gets better. It's horrible when they're sick. :(

One of mine has a tendency towards UTIs too, and (as I said to Cassandraoftroy) my vet recommended swapping him to Royal Canin Urinary S/O. It's expensive but worth it, IMO, as I'd rather pay for that than end up taking him back to the vet over and over for the same issue. I'm in the UK though, so I don't know what's available for you. Maybe you could ask your vet?

Yeah, that is one of the two brands of prescription food my vet wants me to feed him. I'm thinking doing half that and half a non-prescription urinary tract formula to help cut costs. As $1.75 for a can of food when I usually spend $.40 is a bit much. (Heck, a lot of my meals don't cost $1.75.)
