I'm not a fan of Gackt with curly hair, but the man is attractive pretty much whatever his style. It isn't an awful look.

And I don't doubt he can pull it off better than some. I don't even like the hair but I still think he looks cute.

Haha yeah, there are some people where the hair is just SO bad, but you're like, "... dammit it'd probably look worse on someone else..." because they're just too darn cute/goodlooking.

I don't know why this is, for it is the same man. But...the hair looks better in the bottom picture than it does in the top picture.

Perhaps the problem is one of angles. There would be no hate, if only the filmmakers had selected the correct angles.

Not related, but I read that Gackt got caught up in an embezzlement scandal with Tohoku earthquake relief funds and now is trying to leave the country. The news kinda ruined the drama for me =/

I'm pretty sure that whole story was fake because nothing ever became of it. He appeared in Akumu-chan well after that controversy. And is currently doing his Best of Best tour. Not trying to escape the country lol.
