Interesting. I picture Claudia Stilinski as a brunette for some reason.

I always pictured her as a brunette, too. Now that we (finally know her name), I can't even contemplate her being anything else. I've just never known a Claudia that wasn't a brunette *shrug*

Me too, and that Stiles looks a lot like her, though I don't know that it matters for this show since Allison doesn't look like either of her parents. On the other hand, looks-wise, they cast Scott's father pretty well - Scott looks like a mix between him and Melissa.

Also, yay, because she finally has a name! - Yes! And, also, a timeline.

How long do you think before the sheriff and Stiles get first names? I'm not optimistic since we seem to have just gotten another character with a title instead of a name in Agent McCall. We don't know Derek's father's name either - watch he'll be Councilman Hale or, like, Superintendent Hale or something.

We probably won't find out Papa Stilinski and Stiles' first name for a while (If the Sheriff's name isn't John, I'm going to have issues adjusting. Oops).

And we'll probably find out Agent McCall's name soon. They just wanted to shock us with this reveal last night (and it worked, because I didn't see it coming) and that's why it was kept hidden.

Also, I think Derek's father may even have a different last name because Talia and Peter are Hales and maybe the last name is matrilineal, because both Talia and Laura were Alphas.

Probably not. I'd be okay with something other than John, but I can see how there would be a dissonance with something else. I think there's a fair chance Jeff Davis will go with John as I'm pretty sure the Stiles with a bat thing was a wink at the fans, however, he does sometimes like to turn expectations on their heads, so who knows.

I don't know, it took a while to get Boyd's full name and it also took 11 episodes to get the name of the girl that rescued Isaac.

He might or he might have taken her name or, hell, maybe they were second cousins (actually, though, they wouldn't have to be as Hale is not an uncommon surname - my grandparents on my father's side both had the same last name before marrying, but their families weren't related).
