A fetus isn't a human being, so fuck right off with that.

gdi people. a foetus IS a human being, it is not a person. i know it's nitpicky but it DOES matter. no personhood, yes human biology. there are legalities involved here and abortion laws (in favour of the right, rather) are set up largely on the basis that a foetus is not legally a person. that is why abortion is not murder.

I do, actually, if it's living like a leech off my body. It's the same reason it would be all right to kill vampires, see?

Fine. Don't kill the fetus. Just take it out without altering my bodily integrity and then deal with it yourself.

Omg now I'm picturing people transplanting fetuses into pro-lifers to take care of. Imagine that. I wonder how many of them would actually take that burden on to save a life. Lol.

That would be beautiful and amazing. I bet 99% of them would change their tune right quick the moment that pwecious wittle life is suddenly inside of them instead. Especially the men.

There's a sci-fi book I read years ago that actually did this. They were able to transplant fetuses, and this one female doctor transplanted one into a very strongly anti-choice far right male politician without his knowledge/consent (he was getting surgery for something else and was knocked out) and of course the second he found out about it he wanted it gone because it was taking over his body. It was actually pretty interesting, I'd read it again if I could remember what it was/find it.

Actually, you do have a right (legally speaking) to self-defense, such as killing a human being that's harming you. And if a human being is stealing the precious resources of my body from me against my will, and might straight up murder me when exiting my body in a violent rupture of blood, then yes, I have a right to kill it.

If they are invading my body without my consent, yes I damn well do. No one is entitled to my body. Fuck you.
