SaltyBet
(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 04:10 am (UTC)(link)For anyone who hasn't heard of it, Saltybet is a site where you can bet fake money on a 2D fighting game (MUGEN) where both fighters are controlled by the AI. And it's really more fun than it has any right to be. It's at saltybet.com, you pretty much just sign up, look at the contestants and start betting fake money - the odds are based on who the favorites are, which you learn to get a feeling for after a while. Fair warning, there's also a twitch chat room on the page which is occasionally entertaining but also frequently as dumb and vulgar as you'd expect a chat room full of 4chan people and redditors to be.
